Routines
They only help when you stick to them, but what if it’s too much or I keep falling off track, are there even any benefits to having a daily routine?

Yes! Routines can be enjoyable and leave you with a sense of achievement and their health benefits may leave you wondering why you didn’t start one sooner!

A daily routine can help you:
🔆Manage stress more effectively
🔆Sleep better
🔆Be healthier
🔆Get active
🔆Give you mental clarity and concentration
🔆Have more energy
🔆Improved decision making
🔆Increased confidence
🔆Feelings of security and control
🔆Reduced cognitive load

Routines could be as simple as eating a meal at the same time each day, following a daily chore list, or preparing for sleep in the same way each night.

General tips for routines
-identify your existing routines and add to them.
-start small, try one new thing at a time.
-make a plan, build out your intentions and the changes you want to see.
-make it achievable
-find a daily rhythm
-set limits, how much time and energy do you need to put into your routine each day?
-don’t aim for perfection
-track your progress
-reward yourself once you’ve followed your routine consistently.
-reframe your thinking, having a daily routine doesn’t need to be about changing your whole life and the way you live it. It’s more about incorporating healthier habits.
-recognize unhealthy routines

Routines are so good for you and it can take anywhere from 18-254 days for people to establish a new habit/routine. So why not get started today and become consistent!
